Previous Experience: She taught 1 year of Title 1 at Viking Elementary School in Pelican Rapids, MN. She spent 3 years full-time at Inspiration Point Christian Camp & Retreat Center working on the Program Team and teaching in the Outdoor Adventure Education program. This included running an outdoor preschool and field trips for homeschool families, and private and public schools. She began teaching 4th grade at PCS in 2025.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to spend time outside! Hiking, biking, kayaking. It is my husband and my goal to visit every MN State Park. I also love reading, crocheting, and spending time with my family and friends.
Why are you excited about teaching at PCS? I am so excited to be teaching in a school that shares my faith and values. Working at I-Point I experienced the blessing of working with people who love Jesus and want guests to come to know Him too. It is a privilege to be able to continue to work in an environment like that here at Park Christian, where the teachers and staff care deeply about the students and their walk with Jesus.
Your favorite Bible verse and why: Isaiah 43:1 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.” I have loved this verse since I was in middle school! It is a wonderful reminder that I belong to Jesus and He loves me in spite of my sin. God has called me by name into His kingdom!
The best part about following Jesus is...Knowing that the troubles I face in this life are temporary. Jesus has overcome the world and defeated death and sin so that we can have HOPE in His name! We can look forward to heaven where there will be no more crying, pain, or death! Praise the Lord! Now I can live freely in His name and for His glory.
