The PCS Parent Association exists to:
- Serve and love our teachers as they faithfully teach and care for our children.
- Build community by creating opportunities for parents, students, and families to connect through fellowship, communication, and school-wide events.
- Support our classrooms by helping provide resources, educational opportunities, and experiences that enhance student learning.

What does the Parent Association Do?
The Parent Association works throughout the year to encourage, equip, and support our school community in many ways.
Supporting Our Teachers
Our teachers invest countless hours into the lives of our students, and we love finding ways to encourage them. Throughout the year we:
- Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week
- Provide meals during Parent-Teacher Conferences
- Deliver treats, snacks, and other surprises to brighten their day
- Help fund classroom requests, educational materials, and professional development opportunities
Building Community
One of our greatest goals is helping families feel connected and engaged at Park Christian. We do this by organizing events and programs such as:
- The annual Turkey Trot Walk-A-Thon
- Family Fun Nights at local businesses
- Grade-level Room Captains who help connect parents and classrooms
Whether you're a new family or have been part of PCS for years, we want every family to feel welcomed, informed, and connected.
Supporting Our School
Funds raised by the Parent Association directly benefit Park Christian School by helping provide:
- Classroom supplies and hands-on learning materials
- Educational resources requested by teachers
- Professional development opportunities
- Special projects and initiatives that enhance the student experience

Ways You Can Support the Parent Association
There are many simple ways to support the work of the Parent Association throughout the year:
- Turkey Trot Walk-A-Thon – Sponsor a student during our annual fall fundraiser.
- Cash Wise MORE Rewards – Select Park Christian School in the MORE Rewards app. Qualifying purchases at Cash Wise and Hornbacher's help support our school.
- Community Partner Nights – Join us at participating restaurants and local businesses throughout the year where a portion of sales is donated back to the Parent Association.
- Box Tops for Education – Scan your grocery receipts using the Box Tops app and select Park Christian School.
- Follow us on Facebook – Stay up to date on events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our school community.
- Read the Weekly Update Email – Watch for announcements, event information, and opportunities to get involved.

There is a place for everyone in the Parent Association—whether you have a few hours each year or want to be involved more regularly. Every volunteer makes a difference, and every contribution helps strengthen our school community.
Parent Association meetings and volunteer hours count toward CMI (Count Me In) volunteer hours.
