Mrs. Powers holds a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education with a minor in Vocal Music Education.‍

What do you like to do in your spare time?  In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, playing board games, and spending time with my family.

Why are you excited about your new role at PCS? I am excited to teach students not only about music but how we can use it to glorify God.

Your favorite Bible verse and why:  “Sing to the LORD, praise His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.” Psalm 96:2 What a blessing it is to be able to praise God through music! He has given us a gift of using our voices and talents to further glorify Him and His kingdom, sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus every day!

The best part about following Jesus is...Knowing I have hope and trust in something greater than myself (because I alone am insufficient). God will provide through joyous times and challenging times.
