Why do you teach? I love to help people connect the dots in the Scripture. When we make those connections, it helps us move forward in our faith.
What do you like about working with this age group? Kids often ask better questions than adults do when it comes to the Bible, how they follow Jesus, and how the faith impacts the world. It’s a joy to come alongside them and nurture those questions.
What is your Deep Hope for your students? And why? My deep hope is that all staff and students at PCS would experience Real Devotion to Jesus, Real Community with each other and accept Responsibility for themselves and to others.
We want our life with Jesus to be real, not a performance or a hypocrisy.
What is your favorite Bible verse and why? Exodus 34:6-7: It reveals the character of God which is then perfectly revealed in Jesus.
“And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, ‘The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’”
The best part about following Jesus is... never having to do anything alone.
