Mrs. Batterson holds a B.A. in secondary social studies education, a B.A. in middle school education with a minor in English, and a MA of science in teaching and leadership.

Previously she taught 7^th grade English for 1 year at Valley Middle School in Grand Forks, 2 years middle school history and English at Christian Academy in Louisville, KY, and 2 years of highschool Literature and 7^th grade writing at Highland’s Latin Cottage School in KY.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  Hang out with my kids, camp with my family, run, craft, and read.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?  2 Corinthians 12:9-10 because it reminds me that Christ’s power is far greater than my weakness. A reminder I always need.

The best part about following Jesus is…..Knowing that it’s not anything in my own power to make Him love me, but He saved me while I was and still am a sinner.  I love knowing it is all about what Jesus has done and not anything I’ve done. What a great comfort!
