Annual Washington D.C. Trip

Park Christian School ninth graders visit our nation's captiol in Washington DC.

Since 1997, Park Christian School ninth graders have taken an annual fall trip into the heart of our nation's history. They travel for six days visiting Williamsburg, Jamestown, and many sites in Washington D.C.

This trip is an important part of the educational and spiritual experience for our students. These students return to campus with a richer world-view, stronger class friendships, and a greater appreciation for the rich blessings we share as Americans.

  • "Having the opportunity to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was an amazing experience and a great way to show respect for fallen soldiers." Kaydee J.
  • "The best time as a class I've ever experienced." Dan T.
  • "Freedom is not free." Emily C.
  • "The World War II Memorial was awesome!" Jacob S.
  • "Sleep is overrated." Jordan K.

Students and chaperones listed their favorite things from the Washington D.C. trip:

A quote from one student sums it up for all of them: "The Washington D.C. trip was so much fun and really educational! The entire trip was an amazing glimpse into our country's history and the sacrifices made for our freedom. The fundraising was totally worth it!"
