History
Park Christian School (PCS) was prayerfully created in 1981 with kindergarten through eighth grade programming, when Central Christian School, founded by Fargo First Assembly, merged with Daystar School and Bethel Evangelical Free Church added their support. By 1985, our enrollment had doubled and the school purchased a building in north Moorhead. Over the next 12 years, classrooms were finished throughout the building to accommodate increasing enrollment, and in the spring of 1998, we began new construction. This helped to provide space for our first high school class of ninth grade students. That same year, we began a second campus in south Fargo at Bethel Evangelical Free Church. This campus provides space for PreK, Kindergarten and elementary grades. In 2002, following the graduation of our first senior class, two additional classrooms were built at the Moorhead campus to facilitate a record enrollment of 484 students. PCS is a ministry where many miracles have taken place and lives have been changed from the inside out. We cannot share the story of PCS without acknowledging the unwavering hand of direction and blessings from God.
