Park Christian School is directed by a School Board comprised of nine members:
TRAVIS REIMCHE, President
Travis grew up in Moorhead, MN just a few blocks away from what is now Park Christian School (PCS). He and his wife Jamie have 2 very active daughters who are enrolled at PCS. Travis attended Benedictine University for MS in Management and Organization Behavior and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. Travis has served on several Boards and Committees in the Fargo/Moorhead area along with coaching girls Fast Pitch Softball over the last five seasons. Professionally Travis is very experienced in all phases of market development and management, including: Human Resources- recruiting, hiring, staffing, training and development of people along with customer service, compliance management and public relations.
In his words "Serving on the Park Christian School Board will give me the opportunity to use the skills I have learned through education, life experience and professional training to assist in the growth and development in serving the mission of Park Christian School."
NEIL LEGATT, Vice President
Neil grew up on a dairy farm in central Minnesota and attended parochial and Christian schools. He and his wife, Amy, live in Moorhead and have two children who both attend Park Christian. He is self-employed as a general contractor, specializing in residential construction. Neil enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, fishing, hunting and making maple syrup with his family. Neil has volunteered in several capacities at Park Christian from volunteering in the classroom, hosting class parties to helping on construction projects. He has been on the school board since August 2015.
ADAM BRAUNBERGER, Treasurer
Adam was recently elected to the board in 2017 and is currently serving as the treasurer. He and his wife, Tara, live in West Fargo and have three children. Two are enrolled at PCS (1st and K) and their youngest is still at home. Adam is a native of New Rockford, ND and his wife is from Williston, ND where she attended Trinity Christian School. Adam is a graduate of NDSU where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and was involved with Chi Alpha (First Assembly's college group). He is currently a business banker in Fargo and has more than 12 years of financial and sales management experience. In addition to work, family and PCS activities, Adam is an active member and serves on the board of the Fargo Kiwanis Club. In his free time, Adam enjoys to hunt, golf, watch Bison football and spend time with family and friends.
NATHAN AAKRE, Secretary
Nathan and his wife Brittany, who is a Class of 2005 graduate of Park Christian School, have 2 young children and live in Moorhead. Nathan grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota, and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Mathematics from Valley City State University. His work experience includes banking and mortgage lending, credit counseling, and property appraisal. He has served on the Board since July of 2015, is part of the communication task force, and has volunteered at elementary chapel at PCS. Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, playing any kind of sport, and visiting baseball stadiums.
Brandon and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Fargo and have 2 future PCS Falcons. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Brandon is the Network Operations Center Manager at High Point Networks and has a background in business management and operational development. His passion for youth development is evident in his dedication to the ‘Big Brother/Big Sister’ program where he has served as a mentor since 2010 and on their advisory board. In his free time, Brandon enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fishing, sailing, and home projects. Brandon has been on the school board since July 2017./p>
Stacey and his wife Amy have lived in Fargo since 1984. Stacey and Amy are alumni of Oak Hills Bible College in Bemidji. They have a daughter (Niisa) who is a PCS junior and a daughter (Kaatla) who graduated from PCS in 2013. They own and operate Hoiberg construction. Stacey has been on the PCS school board since 2013.
Rachelle and her husband Chris have three children, two of which are elementary students at PCS. Rachelle is an RN and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Medcenter One College of Nursing in Bismarck, North Dakota. She grew up in North and South Dakota and attended Christian school during her elementary years. She is active at Park Christian and serves on the transportation committee, the auction committee, attends parent association meetings, and volunteers in her children's classrooms. She has served on the board since November of 2014. Rachelle enjoys time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
June and her husband Larry, have three sons who graduated from PCS. June has a Marketing degree from UND and served as the Admissions & Marketing/Development Director at PCS from 2000-2008. Her interests include volunteering in various ministries, family time, lake activities and consuming mass quantities of coffee...
Shane and his wife Jill have three children; two who attend PCS and a 3 year-old in training. Shane has served multiple boards, including the ND State Board of Higher Education and The Village Family Service Center. He has also been a Hospice of the Red River Valley Volunteer and currently serves on the Board for Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest (JAUM) and is the past chair of Junior Achievement of the Upper Red River Valley based in Fargo, ND for which he continues to volunteer in elementary classrooms.
Shane is President and Chief Executive Officer at Intelligent InSites – the leading provider of operational intelligence for healthcare. Prior to his current role, he was the President of Varistar, where he led a $540M manufacturing and infrastructure business portfolio at Otter Tail Corporation (NASDAQ: OTTR), where Shane also served as a corporate officer and Senior Vice President. Prior to Varistar, Shane owned Providian Consulting, LLC, and held leadership roles in healthcare operations (Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, Minneapolis/St. Paul; Family HealthCare, Fargo), using his experience in operations consulting and acting as interim President/CEO roles for many healthcare customers.
Shane was raised in Park River, ND and graduated from North Dakota State University, with degrees in Biochemistry and Biology/Zoology. He has been on the PCS Board of Directors since July, 2017.
Board members serve three-year terms and can serve two consecutive terms. If you have an interest in serving on the School Board of Park Christian School, contact either the Board President or the School President.
